Krea 2: a practical creative-control workflow

Use style references and a fixed scorecard to turn Krea 2 experiments into repeatable decisions.

Turn the idea into a draft ↗

Treat references as instructions

Krea introduced Krea 2 in May 2026 as its first foundation image model, emphasizing style control and reference use. Assign each reference a job—composition, palette, material or character—so the team can explain the resulting direction.

  • Name each reference’s purpose
  • Keep the core prompt fixed
  • Change one visual variable per round

Create a selection gate

Score candidates for brief adherence, focal clarity, repair effort and campaign fit before enhancing. Compare PicLumen when a broader studio matters, or PicWish when cleanup is the bottleneck.

Test alternatives consistently

Reuse the same brief when testing Polox, Kling or another model. Log generation settings and approval notes so the comparison remains useful after the newest-model excitement fades.
